His name is a coincidence, but his commitment to the poultry “farmer” is real. As the Senior Technical Specialist at Ridley, Mark Farmer is responsible for the day-to-day nutritional decisions representing more than 80 million layers, 24 million broilers, ducks, geese, pheasants and quail from Pennsylvania to California. Working with this many birds and this many producers means Mark is not only busy, but well accomplished in his field of poultry science. “I have had the good fortune to be associated with this group of true professionals, and I just love it,” states Mark. “We truly are a family and this is why I tell people that I will never retire as I just can’t imagine myself doing anything that is this rewarding.” >> Read More
